About the event
A veteran guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Jim Kalabokis has been performing for audiences since the 1980’s. With musical influences ranging from Dylan, The Beatles, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash, and Tom Petty, his extensive catalogue of classic rock and folk spans over 50 years. In addition to performing as a solo acoustic artist, Jim was also the founding member and chief songwriter for the original Folk-Rock band, The Basiks and occasionally performs with the Chicago-based classic rock band, The Shades. Now residing in Southwest Michigan, he continues to gig at local and regional venues and events.
